The Conklin® Mark Twain Crescent Filler™ Superblack is truly an exceptional pen. It is made of solid brass, the surface of which is technologically treated with superblack lacquer coating to achieve almost completely opaque matte black appearance, and, is considered to be the darkest substance known. It absorbs over 99% of visible light at normal incidence. To enhance the elegance of each Mark Twain Crescent Filler™ Superblack pen the clip and parts are adorned with shiny plating. Each pen is engraved with Mark Twain’s distinctive signature along the band and is equipped with the original Conklin® spring loaded rocker clip patented in 1916. Tastefully engraved along the bottom of the cap is the limited edition number exclusive for each pen. The Mark Twain Crescent Filler™ Superblack is a limited edition run of 1898 pieces of each trim and is fitted with premium stainless steel JoWo nib, which allows users to choose one that complements their individual handwriting style. Each nib displays the brand name and is marked with special crescent-shaped breathing hole.
